Sounds Yummy!!
I haven't actually tried this yet but my mom-in-law posted this on a family recipe Blog and it sounds so good I decided it needed to be shared.....it probably sounds good cause I've been banned from sweets:(
We are having this tomorrow after Stake Conference. It looks to me like a dessert, but my Mom is super excited about it. Her first experience with creme brulee was at Lauren's reception, and she thinks it will taste like that. She cut it out of the Deseret News. If you are interested in how it turned out call tomorrow. It is chilling in the fridge as I write.
Creme Brulee French Toast
1/2 c. unsalted butter
2 T. corn syrup
Bread sliced to cover butter mixture
5 large eggs
1-1/2 c. half and half
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. salt
In a saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Pour into a 9x13 glass baking dish. Arrange bread pieces on top. Beat together eggs, half and half, vanilla and salt. Pour egg mixture over the top of the bread. Cover and chill overnight in the refrigerator. The next morning, bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

Two cool things I feel I should be more verbally thankful for are these:
1-Some how I managed to get a job outside of Utah that doesn't require me to work on Sundays. Something I thought would be impossible since I work somewhat in the medical field.
2-Because we are 2 hours ahead of Utah I was able to work an entire shift yesterday at work, go do some grocery shopping and still make it home in time to watch all of the 2nd session of General Conference which was awesome.

Celebration
In the short years of my existence on earth I have discovered there are many everyday moments you can celebrate. For example: getting a great deal on a box of cereal, spending $6 on a yummy 16 inch pizza, destroying the ants that invaded my apartment.
But of them all I think my favorite is the day that comes about once a year when I can fit my short hair back into a pony tail which I accomplished today!!! This may break Mikey's heart a little but not having my hair in stuck in my mouth, eye lashes and not touching my face is well worth the heart ache I think.
Note: Baby is very active now a days and loves to kick me in the ribs. Not so cool but sometimes when it stretches it tickles:)
